Skoot's Korner

#1 Post by Skoot » 27 May 2021 10:20

So I've finally decided to make a screenshot (and maybe discussion) thread of my own.

I mostly play ATS and that's gonna be the main theme for this topic, but I'll also include some pictures from ETS2 here as I don't see it practical to maintain a separate topic for those. If (a big "If") I ever start making something for the game in Blender, I'll also post it here.

I like caboverunconventional stuff. This should explain a lot. :P

Without further ado, here's what I drive as of now:

Main profile:

[ external image ]
Scot A2HD (the one with Cummins Formula 350)
[ external image ]
Scot A2HD (the one with Detroit 8V92TTA 365)
[ external image ]
Kenworth K100E

Vanilla profile:

[ external image ]
Kenworth W900L (you've likely seen it a lot in pictures from convoys I've participated in)

And here's how the yesterday's convoying with @poozykrem looked from my side of the screen.

Time to fill the emptiness of this thread.

There's a spot on US-6 highway between Price and Provo in Utah where the road exposes you to a beautiful view of a Price river valley with a factory in the background. Y'all probably know the place since US-6 is a major trucking route through Utah, and my love for long hauls takes me there pretty often too (I estimate that about a quarter of my runs utilize the route now). This stretch of road has turned into one of my "truckspotting" locations where I always try to snap a picture of my rig. The whole thing has started with this shot:

I liked it a lot and tried to replicate it later:

And then it has turned into a sort of a tradition.

And here's a bunch of assorted screenshots. Felt like sharing.

Here are some pics from my and @poozykrem's recent convoy. Not too many this time as we were mostly driving and chatting about everything from Detroit Diesel engines to personal matters. :geek:

Quite a tight spot to back into, eh?
