[UPD] Coast to Coast Map - v2.11.11 (UPD 05 Dec)
Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check chapters [4] and [5] of Forum Rules.

Alright. Let's see you make a map mod of this magnitude with 0 bugs in it. Can you do it? No? Then stop with the attitude towards the C2C devsjacques312 wrote: ↑12 Nov 2020 04:28I have great manners, but it pisses me off when people don't check their work!

I've always said this map is a work in process. I've seen a lot of areas get better with time. I personally have a lot of respect for what they do with this map

The new version (for CO DLC) is going to take a lot longer than I thought. If you want to try a temporary version, check my discord for the link.

Any plans to eventually connect Chihuahua to Texas at Ojinaga/Presidio?

Re: [UPD] Coast to Coast Map - v2.11.9 (UPD 11 Nov)
I've always found this fascinating that someone will take a map that has a particular state in it, that's just been released by SCS and somehow expect the state DLC to work perfectly with the map. Its like they somehow expect new connections to be automatically made, or that the state done by modders will precisely match what SCS will be doing in the future.
It is a lot of work to get a map mod to work with a newly released state. There's quite a few roads to connect to from Colorado into Kansas, Nebraska and Texas, which really should be my responsibility since those are all in my area.

@Blackspots I couldn't agree more. Modding in general is a lot of work. Some people expect it to work perfectly all the time and it simply isn't the case. It should be expected that when a new state dlc releases, if you have a map, any map that shares that state that you would have a conflict. Everyone just needs to be patient and appreciative for what we get here for free.
