Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

You might try this....

In the config.cfg

change the 1 to a 0

Hey I've noticed since the last update, the states dont show up in the c2c map. I see the cities all there in the jobs screen but no state abbreviations for example "Nashville, ()" I took a job to one of this cities, everything worked ok at start. I started my trip, then I pressed start to look at my map, and the game completely froze. I'm guessing maybe it's because nashville doesnt have a state attached it and maybe that glitched the game? No idea but does anyone know an easy fix to correct this? Thanks.

@Dreadnaught No a re-install won't help. That's basically a bigger version of the verify.

@Dreadnaught I just looked at your game log and it seems that you have 1 local mod activated (C2C), but also 10 Workshop mods activated...

Disable all those Workshop mods, and check if you still have a crash. If not, add one by one the Workshop mods untill you have a crash again. You'll then know what mod caused the crash.

You cannot compare two map mods by just looking at both maps. Also you cannot compare two map mods by counting the cities in a particular area. Easier said then done for my current method of game play - Take the highest paying load to a city where a garage has not yet been purchased while trying to route on as many undiscovered roads in the same direction (current map covers all 50 US states, Canada, and Mexico so there is a lot of ground to cover). I don't count every city and mile of road for each mod; I don't have enough time for that in my current real-world life, so I base it off a general impression from the world map and if I personally feel it adds any value. I'd leave it up to the the community as a whole to find and report issues collectively rather than one person have to drive on every road looking at every detail and then decipher if the issue is one mod or the other. And additionally, as I stated before, having PMA active caused a large chunk of I-85 from the southern VA line all the way to GA to not show. If the mod does not offer additional incentives (rather than just another road to discover) then I personally don't see a point in having it at this time, especially if the only thing there is just some additional generic scenery (desert, forest, grass, etc). Just another mod to have to make sure is updated and every time there is a change (ATS platform update, additional DLC released, or mod update), check everything again to make sure it still works - too much work for no additional in-game profit. For me, it is easier to play the game how I have been, and if an issues arises that halts progress along that road (broken road, invisible wall, etc.) then reload at last auto-save, find another route and report the issue to the developer of said mod and wait for an update to try it again. Once I have built up my massive empire, then I plan on going and exploring the remaining undiscovered roads but until that time comes, I'm focusing on the profit and expansion aspects. I fully understand your point and perspective and agree for those looking to add roads and some nice scenery to look at while strolling through that you are correct, but personally, at this time, in my method of game-play, that is not the direction I am going.

Steam ATS version 1.41.1.8s is crashing on this mod (2.11.15 (UPD 15 Jul). Anybody having a similar issue? Is there a fix? Thanks.

Hi all
I've been trucking on ATS for about three years now, it's a great activity for days of bad weather or when I'm in standby for work and can't really do much for the requirement to mobilize quickly.
In November 2019, I discovered the magic of map mods and once I figured out how to place the files in my PC to make them operational, it has made this awesome game even better and have had relatively little trouble with the mods. I have frequently referred to this forum for assistance but never needed to post until now. I'm getting frustrated that I can't use C2C, despite having the most up-to-date versions of the game and all the mods as it is my favourite mods of them all.
Right now I have the following mods in my 'mods' folder:

ATS Route Alaska v1.2 .rar
Canadream v2.41 .scs
Coast_to_Coast_v2.11.9.40 (1).scs
Reforma_2_1_8_141.scs
Reforma_C2C_Patch_v8_141.scs
reforma_v218_141

I have not been able to get Route Alaska to work at all :(

Now in my actual game Mod Manager, the C2C appears as v2.11.15, made by Hombro but after deleting the file and re-downloading multiple times since the ATS v1.41 update about two weeks ago, it still appears in the file folder as the previous version, which has been crashing my game every time I try to boot it up. When I disable C2C, the other mods (Canadream, Reforma) work perfectly. I have also tried editing my "config.cfg" as suggested by TexasWhirlwind to try and cure a similar issue that another user had recently, as shown below:

In the config.cfg

change the 1 to a 0

Route alska is .rar, to work it should be a .scs
