Maybe it's not a map mod - Do you use a mod thats only compatible with the base game like the Truck Stop mod or the more people mod?
I think it can be helpful if you could post your whole load order (screenshots f.e.), too.

i use the american truck stop mod with no problem maybe it was where you had that placed if you place the american truck stop mod by ernst below the map mods it shouldnt give you a problem
