This map works for me, even though my game version is 1.37.X. There are a few problems I pointed out:

2. Textures are missing on T-intersections, showing glowing red lines around the roads. Also, on paved versions of the T-intersection that are missing textures, the lines does not appear white or yellow.
Go back a page or two (comment #2784) and there is a link I posted for a fix for this which hawkbs done when 1.37 beta came out.

Specifically here and read the bottom of the post for the fix and instructions for 1.37 for those textures. viewtopic.php?f=194&t=213559&start=2710#p1318347

The Snow Texture used on Terrain is set to Snow in its material type. Grass in Summer etc is set to Dirt.
The chains only and a bit more grip in the physics file for roads not terrain. Even if they were set to default physics as in the Base Game because of the way SCS made the material physics for snow you would still spend the same amount of time trying to get out of the snow. I have gone off road many times myself to do a uturn and spent a good amount of time getting out of the snow and back onto the road myself. It adds more realism as it is Alaska in Winter and the snow would be fairly deep.
IRL in the snow with chains they can just end up digging a hole in the snow and trapping you even more in deep snow. You wouldnt drive a truck into a field thats deep in snow intentionally in real life unless you had lost your brakes and its the only way to stop.
Just dont go offroad unless you really really need to.
If you do happen to find yourself going off the road alot into the snow, slow down. Its not a Formula 1 race and the physics are set to make the roads slippery.

EDIT: Im just trying again with FMOD using the Winter Map and did notice at Yukon River Camp that you are quite stuck. Im going to change the substance type back to dirt for the next update, however if you guys want to fix it yourselves its very easy. I dont know when Im going to get the next update out.

To Fix Getting Stuck in Snow.

Open the Dalton_Elliot_Hwy_Winter_Mats.scs with Winrar, then navigate to "material/terrain/ice" folder and scroll down until you find snow_1.mat Double click it and it should open in your chosen editor i.e. Notepad or Notepad++ and you will then see

material : "eut2.dif.spec.weight.tg0"
{
texture : "snow_1.tobj"
texture_name : "texture_base"
substance : "snow"
aux[0] : { 5, 5 }
aux[2]: { 255, 255, 255, 9 }
specular : { 0.50, 0.50, 0.50 }
shininess : 8
}

Change it to look like this

material : "eut2.dif.spec.weight.tg0"
{
texture : "snow_1.tobj"
texture_name : "texture_base"
substance : "dirt"
aux[0] : { 5, 5 }
aux[2]: { 255, 255, 255, 9 }
specular : { 0.50, 0.50, 0.50 }
shininess : 8
}

Then hit CTRL-S to save the file and winrar should ask you if you want to update the archive. Click Yes
Rinse and repeat the process for the rest of the Snow Mat files in that folder.

In the meantime Im going to continue trying to solve the issue with the sounds for 1.37

SUCCESS WITH FMOD FINALLY!

I have successfully got the sounds for the Ice Crossings and the Yukon Bridge to work.
Got to play around with the attenuations a little bit or you will hear the ice cracking and the bridge creaking from quite far off. Could hear the bridge while at Yukon River Camp.
The Ice I could hear breaking about 400 metres away. So those need to be adjusted.
I still need to try and replace the Pushtruck sound as its defaulted to the Train sound. Tried to direct it to a custom bank with the Pushtruck sound but it didnt want to play ball.
If push comes to shove I will just leave that.
Have decided to bring experience into line with the base map. I have increased the amount of experience you get by 20x for deliveries and freeroam due to the base map being 20:1 in scale. Therefore you will be able to level up faster than before.
Am currently working on the Winter Version and that will get released asap. Dont ask though cause RL gets in the way alot.
I have also changed the material substance for Snow to dirt so people dont get stuck in places like Yukon River Camp or Hilltop.
Also need to adjust a couple of files regarding missing AI vehicles which can cause a crash if not right.
I have also adjusted the biplane that flies around and lands at Bettles so that it appears more regularly.
So there we have it folks Im back on track.

Added in alot of lighting around Fairbanks, Deadhorse, Prudhoe Bay, all Pump Stations, Yukon River Camp etc.
Replaced some buildings at Yukon River Camp and Coldfoot.
Fairbanks and Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay now have all Truck Dealers.

Edit :-Forgot to mention the previous files I was working on for 1.37 have disappeared. Which means I lost the work I had done before with some of the road heading from Prudhoe/Deadhorse towards Nuiqsut.
I have a bad feeling they were on a hard drive I lost last week due to failure of either the pcb or heads.

Playing this mod for first time (love the show)!! first hour or 2 thinking "this is abit meh, meant to be difficult, yada yada yada".
Fast forward about and hour or 2 pass the Dalton HWay sign at 45mph, snow cathes tyres and nearly yeets me off into the bank on the opposite side of the road... that taught me to pay attention after almost dozing on the paved roads LOL...
Bed time now but excited to finish the run up to coldfoot tomorrow.

Excellent work
