@piva Thanks a ton Piva I shall check it out. The problem is the stretching of the texture on the bottom part of the skybox which is clearly visible on most of the Dalton.
I need to redo the UV map but those tips will help alot. Still using your weather, why wouldnt I ;)

EDIT: I'll check those parameters with the old skybox I retextured however wont it be missing that effect still? SCS took out the effect and put in 4 new ones so theres now 5 effects for the skybox instead of two.
Unless of course you altered that already.

@hawkbs

In the last version 1.38 in the file: "Dalton_Elliot_Hwy_Heavy_Cargo.scs" there is an error in packing the file. ( I've already corrected it, but I don't know if others will do it).

Which option in the "map_data.sii" file is responsible for the size of the map on Job Market. Now the distances are a little too short.

Your map is one of my favorites. :)

Sorry, but I'm using google translator.

@MirM Thanks I'll take a look.
I will take a look at the map_data.sii when I get home from work.

Edit, Yeah was 9kb too much for some reason. Also seems they changed some trailers on me and I missed it. Im going to have to redo the entire Heavy Cargo and check all the regular cargo's.
Will have to do it this weekend kinda busy irl today and tomorrow.
As for the map zoom. That is a real pain in the behind changing values in that file. Its all really trial and error with the map_data.sii
Will play around with it also this weekend as I do have to alter the zooms for Nuiqsut still I think.
If you decide to play around with the values yourself, make a backup of the original file just in case.

Thanks for the heads up on the cargo files as well. They do like to sneak things in like that and it can get quite frustrating when they do that.

Here is the correctly packed Heavy Cargo File as well for 1.38 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ws9UWZ ... sp=sharing

Although I still need to adjust the files for the correct trailers. Havent seen any error messages so assuming the game allows for this for now but I still need to sort it out.
Have added this to the front page of this thread

@hawkbs

Thank you very much and good luck with improving the map. :)

I had old notes how to change the values in the old "game_data.sii". Now they would be useful, but I can't find them.

And without too much haste, because normal life is more important and entertainment should be secondary. ;)

Is it possible for me to install the updated files, without restarting my profile? I've been restarting my game every time, and now I'm wondering if I've been doing it wrong ha ha ha

Don't need to restart your profile.

In this case it's even easier than normal: just copy the file to your mod folder and overwrite the existing file. Then start your Dalton profile as usual. No need to start a new profile.
