You have some mods that are not compatible yet..

Code: Select all

Viva Mexico, Canadreams and so on..
00:00:01.082 : <WARNING> [mods] Incompatible mod - Project_West_ATS_1.6_Hotfix
00:00:01.085 : <WARNING> [package] Package with name \'signs\'seen more than once. Maybe there are both a SCS file and source directory. SCS file will be used
Tried without any mods enabled and still having the game crashed when I try to pick a quick job.

REPEAT AFTER ME: MAP MODS BREAKS YOUR PROFILE. ANYTHING THAT MODIFIES ROAD, CITY STRUCTURE IS A MAP MOD! YOU CAN NOT UNDO THEM FROM THAT PROFILE! ONCE YOU USE THAT MAP MOD, THAT PROFILE IS BOUND TO IT FOREVER! REMOVING THEM FROM MOD LIST OR DELETING THEIR MOD FILES DOES NOT FIX IT! BECAUSE THEY MODIFY YOUR PROFILE DATA!

EITHER WAIT FOR NEW VERSION OF THE MAP TO USE THAT PROFILE

OR START A NEW PROFILE ( LEVEL ZERO) WITHOUT MAP MODS TO PLAY NEW VERSIONS!

THERE IS A REASON THAT IS ON YOUR SCREEN ALL THE TIME

(Yes, I know not all the case blah blah, you can do x, y, z before ugrading blah blah, all pro stuff, methods that is not certian to work and certainly not easy to be made to players who really does not know anything beyond placing mods into mods folder)

Easy method: Go to Beta's tab on Steam, Revert back your game to previous working versions. Add same mods again, then go into game, see if your profile works, Sell all "modded trucks", Sell all "garages bought from non-SCS cities or places", go to an SCS based city garage, save there, then remove mods one by one, get into game after each remove. Sleep or (economy reset --google it) When you say all mods are removed, THEN upgrade to latest game.

AND FFS, do not try every mod if you don't know what you are doing, what it changes... They may not be gums you can chew and throw away if you don't like...

I do believe that there are people in this gaming community that are just to lazy to read and or can't read at all. And they don't have a clue... This guy was told his mods are causing the problem a couple of time. I told him twice already and so has other people. If he can't follow the advise people are giving to him, then I say let him figure it out on his own...
