SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

New neighborhood sometimes will have them underground. Especially in areas with bad weather like tornadoes and hurricanes. I can understand power lines being on both sides of wide roads but not simple 2 lane roads. I guess I never really paid as close attention as I thought a I did. Maybe I am just so use to power lines being just in the alley way of my neighborhood. Still above the ground though because its an older neighborhood. But it can be more expensive to bury anything so I understand the above ground thing. But new development will generally route it under ground.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

@Vinnie Terranova They don't put powerlines underground because its too expensive, and too much work getting permission from land owners.

The ones one the left side in the google streetview shot look like they carry a higher voltage, looking at the insulators.

Are you still working on the map?

I said this a while back on this thread, but worth saying again. I am so looking forward to this mod, I think it will be perfect for realistically using all the daycabs I want to use!

since the beginning of this thread, I have been hoping that it could be the first 1:1 ATS map from the environment of the classic American countryside, which is my dream ... (dalton is a bit of an extreme map)
I would love to drive old trucks and have time to explore the countryside and play with shifting without synchronization on long straight roads
(The aesthetics of the screenshots released so far are interesting)

Re: [W.I.P] Merced County 1:1 by Mobilek
Exactly why im waiting for this so much. It just feels weird having daycabs here and no 1:1 map but in ets2 no daycabs but some 1:1 maps
Re: [W.I.P] Merced County 1:1 by Mobilek
@Buzzin Yes, of course.
@J. Ritter
@jyry That's what I'm aiming for. Classic American countryside with realistic, boring, and looooooong straights. That's what I love.
@Belvia Thanks.
