[REL] ProMods: Canada v1.2.4 updates and discussion

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Nice to hear from you @bricksathome. Really curious to see what content comes next.

BTW a big compliment to the ProMods Canada team. The map is visually so stunning and yet the performance feels throughout pretty optimized. It's a pure joy to take jobs from and to BC.

New content sure is taking its sweet time. At this pace all of ATS will complete the whole US befor Promods even get to Alberta lol

SCS also pays its people to do it full time, and ProMods does more density, but same thing right...

You have to remember that most ProMods Canada editors also edit ETS2 ProMods.

^Not to mention they do it completely free and on their spare time. One can always learn to map and either help them or do a map for one's on benefit. I won't be doing either so I sit back and just chill and wait.

Both promods topics has been locked by the moderators for a couple of months due to a controversy

Awesome. I don't think it was the right move to ban them in the first place. I understand SCS has to be fair to all mods, but ProMods imho is a huge benefit to both games. SCS knows how legit they are as they have been established for years. That's one map mod no one wants to see restricted. Some people play these games just because of them. Not to mention, ProMods is a nice recruit place for SCS.
