Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check chapters [4] and [5] of Forum Rules.

In the Reno area Im getting lots of lag spikes and these in the log

Reforma are merging all these map mods for anyone out of the loop. It will come out once 1.40 is out of beta.

Merging what, exactly? Hope it's not forcing Mexico and/or Extremo onto folks who love Sierra Nevada...

We'll have to wait and see their final announcement, but so far they have indicated Mexico will be included in the merge into one single mod. I agree with you 100%, I am not a fan and there is quite the discussion going on over at the Pazz mod thread about it. I hope they at least offer a US only alternative.

Furture updates was mentioned on one of the streams Eblem did that both SN & The mexico maps will be merged and possibly Pazz mods as well as Pazzmod is officially merged with Team Reforma. That is at least what i understood, language barriers could of course have put some of the info down wrong.

My personal opinion is that i do not mind it, as we do not render any sectors far away, same reason we barely see mountains in the distance. So performance wise we should not feel this. Load times will be longer yeah, but i personally am willing wait a bit longer for a bigger playable map. With this merge we most likely going to have abit of texas aswell. One of the streams there was a section of Texas being worked on as a part of one of eblems projects. I am excited for sure!

The US Sectors standalone would be a great idea aswell, but could mean alot more work on Team Reforma´s end of things. I am easy to please with quality mapping so im happy regardless :D
