SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: Re: Route Alaska v1.2.0 UPD
Hello everyone, work on the map is going on, a little slower, but it continues. I also know that now there may be several projects of the map of Alaska, my project is the Route Alaska, it may be a small map, but it is publicly available, as it is my hobby.

As far as I know ivan, yours is the only ongoing current one. I think Alaska Ice Roads has been on hold for a while now.
Very scenic views along the map especially with the lakes and mountains in the background. Those are my favourite.

I actually recently discovered the other Alaska map mod, Alaska: The Last Frontier. It went silent for over a year, they seem to be absolutely fumbling goodwill they had for the release, and most importantly it's a paid mod. I think people are very appreciative of what Ivan has done and I'm looking more forward to this right now.

Yes, I also learned today that there are other mods, so I warn you that my mod is publicly available, because many can search for information on the network and stumble upon another, so I will give the addresses of the pages of my maps. https://www.facebook.com/ATS-Route-Alas ... tn__=-UC*F and https://www.facebook.com/Ets2-Tas-map-7 ... tn__=-UC*F

It may be small now but I think this map has potential, keep it going! I love the snow capped mountains the best and I love that there are unmarked roads that you don't block off. Sometimes I love exploring those roads (especially if it's a dirt road) even if it's a dead end most of the time. Btw a thing you should fix is the speed limits, there are no speed limits (at least on the highway) which causes the AI to go too fast.

How well does this integrate with C2C?

@ivanmykyta you should consider teaming up with the North to the Future 1:20 Alaska map, your mod would be a great addition to it!

Re: Re: Route Alaska v1.2.0 UPD
Imho new map mods should not try and adjust to it because nearly all map mods released these days are way ahead of the copy paste quality of C2C. Just drop that mod, its causing more issues than what it brings to the table. As ATS expands with the quality map mods like Promods, the Alaska mods, and Reforma. There should not be any need for C2C. Like every state is C2C looks like the other. C2C is the worst map out there, just horrendous quality, and its no wonder considering its scope and how old it is.
