[REL] Minor Urban Overhaul (12/01/2023)

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Re: [REL] Minor Urban Overhaul (11/09/2020)
The crash is because of Minor Urban Overhaul v11.4 and the traffic rules spawn file. Go into the file, go to def, go to world, and delete traffic_rules_spawn.sui. That should stop the crash. Or better yet, use the Lite version instead. That doesn't have any traffic data or spawn file, so it shouldn't crash.
Sometimes my genius is... it's almost frightening.

@defeoac Thanks for your patch. Will this work too with Pazzmod (the legacy version 1.4.02) released a couple of days ago?
Re: [REL] Minor Urban Overhaul (11/09/2020)
@defeoac thank you for doing this. I'll be trying it out later tonight
Re: [REL] Minor Urban Overhaul (11/09/2020)
@LAFAYET47 The MUO/Reforma patch will not work with PaZzMod 1.4.02 since it doesn't have Palm Springs and Palm Desert. Use this patch by n1cky1992 instead: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Vtt42O ... sp=sharing

I don't think Minor Urban Overhaul fully works on 1.40.defeoac wrote: ↑02 Apr 2021 15:49 The crash is because of Minor Urban Overhaul v11.4 and the traffic rules spawn file. I have deleted that file, yet my game still crashes soon before entering Nevada along Interstate 15 Northbound from California.
And no, I do not have a log file. This happened a couple weeks ago, and I no longer have access to that PC (or any PC capable of running ATS). I moved to Utah, and was told to not bring my PC.

Re: [REL] Minor Urban Overhaul (04/02/2021)
Main mod updated, there were changes made in Colorado sectors so I believe it'll require all current map DLC except for Idaho, since SCS fixed the Sandpoint spawn rate by themselves. Also I somehow missed the sectors with the US-101 in my last update so the Lite Versions have been reuploaded with them (they're considered part of the "SoCal" area).
I reiterate that the only difference between the main mod and the "Lite Versions" are the attempts at making city traffic more realistic in areas way beyond California and Arizona, so if you don't care about that or run some giant combo of other map mods, just go for these versions instead.

@Quaristice Many thanks for the update! It's great to see that MUO is still alive.
@defeoac Thanks for your patches. Unfortunately I get broken road connections between SN and the Bay Area (SoCal seems fine though). Tested with the new Reforma map 2.1.3, Reforma Beta 6E and both MUO lite and normal version (deleted traffic_rules_spawn.sui there), no other map mods activated. Always the same result. Do I miss something?

@luetze That is intentional in MUO
Re: [REL] Minor Urban Overhaul (04/02/2021)
I believe this was already mentioned a while ago, it was done on purpose. I'm having the same on my side. The reason why was done is not very clear to me but I think Quaristice broke them because they do not exist IRL?
Re: [REL] Minor Urban Overhaul (04/02/2021)
Thanks for your explanations, guys. Totally missed this and it seems kind of weird but at least the mod is usable then.
