SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

To add map sectors you need to build in a sector that is empty. Once you have a prefab, road etc anything with a node then that sector is charted with "-0002+0004" for example which will be in your user_map/usa folder.

Hello nfld_josh! You can create either an add-on to Canadream to enlarge the map or a completely independent map and of course with one or more connections to Canadream. It's certain that only you will take the best solution. I strongly encourage you to realize your project and I will be one of the first to download your mod. ;) :)

I've been watching Raul (Reforma) on YouTube a bit and found some online instruction documents but they all seem to apply to pre-existing map sectors. The first thing I need to do is figure out how to add map sectors that are located in NL and Cape Breton island before I can add any features.
One thing about it is I have travelled the Happy Province extensively and know the country and features quite well, so that combined with a good GIS based base map layer and I should be able to make something nice.
Any and all assistance greatly appreciated!
Hi @nfld_josh ,

It seems to me you are trying to do with your home province the same thing as I did with my home province of New Brunswick. I started with that as well and now I am up to the point where I redesigned a lot for everything that has to do with Triangle runs (NB down to PA, up to ON and back to NB and everything in between) because that is what I mostly run irl

Sir, Your latest maps don't fit the background in the game (CANADREAM AND C2C). Please fix!
