SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Thank you all for your input.
Mergg wrote: 22 Jul 2021 06:26 I am sure you live in Arizona but if you need help with modeling or laying out Prescott and the surrounding area, I can do so!
If by modelling, you mean modelling buildings, then I would be happy to have help with that. Also, any input on the layouts of towns would be appreciated so I can see what people would like to see in the game.

  • AZ 89 is fairly accurate except AZ-260 does not touch AZ-89. 89A does intersect AZ-260 in Cottonwood which could be potentially modeled with a few buildings, but not an entire town/city. AZ-260 would then proceed to Camp Verde. In Prescott—marked by the red dot, 89A meets its south-end at AZ-89 and the north-end at I-17 near Flagstaff. This route could be particularly challenging as bobtails or trucks 48' or less could only be used.
  • AZ-89 can be extended to US-93 near Wickenburg. Not quite sure if the restriction for trucks is less than 40' or 48'. Either way if implemented could be a challenging mountain route.
  • AZ-69 would end in Prescott at AZ-89, and then meet at I-17 at Cordes Lakes, which is modeled by a green dot. This may be modeled with a Love's Truck Stop which is located at the AZ-69 exit IRL.
I think these would be some good challenging routes out of the mountains to connect US-93, I-17, and I-40, and are very scenic routes as well. I wanted to try to implement this as my own mod, but I have zero experience with the map editor. Tell me what you think.
Yes, all of this is essentially what I plan on doing in the mod.
Jfam1987 wrote: 22 Jul 2021 14:38 I noticed you were going to add Casa Grande (maybe already have I haven't installed this yet)
Casa Grande is coming in update 0.2.
Jfam1987 wrote: 22 Jul 2021 14:38 Anyways, I live in Arizona City which is 10 to 15 minutes south of Casa Grande. Here in Arizona City there is a farm named B & J Farms that produces cotton and hay every year. The exit for Arizona City (exit 200 Sunland Gin Rd) already exists in game, but it only has one gas station (we actually have 3 on that corner, with 2 being good sized truck stops: Love's and Petro) and Sunland Gin doesn't continue South toward Arizona City, which is where the farm is. I just wanted to pass along another possible location to add to Arizona.
Thanks for sharing your work with us :)
Thank you for the information. I will likely be adding the truck stops and adding some farms in the area as companies.

Unfortunately, I have no modelling experience, but I can give a general layout of special buildings, bridges, and the downtown area pretty well. There are a few landmarks outside of town that are parts of the town such as the Aero University I attend and the Airport.

Ah, I see. For that sort of stuff, I would probably just use Google Maps/Street View or a Google search as a reference.

Anyway, everyone can understand my post. Quick question. On 7744 posts, how many have you published to say nothing or to look for fleas at your targets?
Being wise, I wouldn't have answered you but, as you are an expert to prick, it tempts me to play with you tonight...You don't love me and I don't love you so, why don't we leave it at there? Forget me.

Alright! Thank you AzNate! Oh yes, I forgot. Would it be possible to add jobs on your map to transport loads in your city? It's really a beautiful city but it's a shame that we don't have any charges to drop off there. Thanks!

If this is what you're asking, Gila Bend doesn't have many companies because it's a small town. There might be something that I could add to the south of town when I expand south, but as for inside the town, I don't think there's really anything nor any room for me to add anything sadly.
