This is the rail yard near Fresno, the vanilla train is on engine, two of the grain (?) cars and four tank cars.

First Release

I've got a first release together. Currently the mod only modifies some of the trains. I wanted to get it out there so people could use it even though it's not 100% done yet. I want to do this for two reasons, I've that in some areas you might see a train stop and then poof out of existence if you stop and watch it. This is due to where the animation ends, and I don't know how to change that at the moment. I don't this is a big issue, unless it happens at a crossing, which brings me to reason two.

I would also like people to point out where crossing are, I haven't found them all yet, and that's the big area to check to make sure the trains are working correctly, and for me to see which ones are spawning.

Not really interested in the mod, but I may download it anyway just to help out.

@Einjzmolf Working as intended, not a bug?

If I had to hazzard a guess this is probably the back of a train protruding out of where ever it spawned, if that's happening here, it's probably happening elsewhere. It seems like only cetain trains spawn in certain areas and it's not fully random, the simplest solution for now might be to figure out which ones have the problems and leave them as the default.

I'm not sure what would be required to move the train animation start and end points, I'm afraid it might be a map edit though, and I don't know where to start with that at the moment.

to move the path a train follows, it is a map edit. the train should follow a stright line path (because it cant turn properly) along the tracks

the object is called a mover, in the editor look for a line along the tracks and find its end points
I'm on a mission to ensure the city of Pittsburgh is accurately represented in ATS.

Please give correct coordinates when reporting it'll make the life for mambroz so much easier and will leave him plenty of spare time to improve the mod :D
Sorry, out of office
