Don't forget that there are 2 different trains in the game, a passenger one and a freight one!!!!!

Also, some trains are missing the train with the engines lol it's only carriages.

Thank you for the feedback so far everyone. I've looking into how to do some map editing, and hopefully I'll have some time to get back into this mod over the weekend.

Sometimes when I'm watching trains go by, I see the second engine inside a freight car. Could you fix this for the next version? The location I see this is near the Rail Export in Bakersfield.

ha I too had a wacky train twice, so I created a new profile, I removed the Longer Trains mod, and there was no train where it was twice before....

I'm curious about something, would it be better to make each rolling stock a mover and then set them along the same path as the vanilla train, like put the cars offset in a way that it appears they are attached but they all move independently along the same path? I would think that would give a more realistic appearance and would allow for a complete train to go around corners (and allow for independent sounds: engine sound, rolling stock sound, etc) . But then I guess you would have an issue with the front of the train turning around at the end of the path and then clipping through the cars in the opposite direction.

@TruckerKid: That was actually my thought, I was looking through the map and the movers, there is at least once curved bit of track that the single train runs down by default.

The floating trains are all coming from spawns that are nearby, from what I can tell. Someone did post a video of a random set of train cars moving across a street, I'm at a loss for that one since the cars are not broken out at all and I've done nothing to the spawners with the current version.

I was looking into the possibility of spawning the trains as blocks of cars (or like TruckerKid said, individually), but I'm not sure how I could create a delay so cars would spawn after the train. There also doesn't seem to be a way to randomize what train spawns, at least from what I've been able to tell. I've got absolutly 0 experience with the editor though and might be overlooking something.
