Just messing with Zmodeler3 trying to get familiar with it. I could not figure out blender. If anyone is interested I can upload this.

I know what you mean, I tried to figure out blender too
. I can work in 3DsMax, Blender is backwards from EVERY real 3d program out there.
I too am trying to learn Zmod 3 instead...but it is still not as powerful as 3dsmax. I think i will work between Max and zmod3 and only use Blender if i absolutely HAD to. Keep it up that turned out nice
Myself i am messing around with a few of the models in 3dsMax trying to make a window for the high roof daycab pete 389.
As long as zmod3 does the same things Blender does as far as putting models ingame, then there should be no need for Blender.
And lol you JUST confirmed that for me with the mod you did in zmod3....Is that the only 3d program you used to do the short Pete ?
I say upload it if it runs well and no errors...that could make a cool socal hay hauler with a little custom work

Re: Short Peteterbilt
Sure, I'd like to give this one a try. Like mac said, as long as there's no errors, it'll definitely be a good fit for California since that's basically all we have right now.
(Personally, I'm waiting for someone to do a tri-axle chassis.

http://www.filedropper.com/shortpete Here is the link. It should have zero errors and the file is small because i only edited the pmd. This was just a test to see if I could successfully export a file. I am having a bit of trouble with the materials editor since it is a bit different from previous zmodeler software. And yes I only used zmodeler 3. I tried for days to edit with blender but just could not get the hang of it. I just wish zmodeler 2 was still supported.

Re: Short Peteterbilt
A yes from me too, please upload it!!!
In real life, the Peterbilt 579 is actually available in 4x2 chassis.
I suppose it's not so common like the 6x4, but it's real and that counts (at least for me).

I am looking forward,
Thanks a lot!
EDIT: I must be blind...
... I just read your last post...
... I downloaded the mod, it's really nice!!!
Is there any chance (if it's possible) to make the 4x2 chassis standalone??
Thank you very much!

@XXXXX, I made a small edit of your mod so that it adds the 4x2 chassis in addition to the 6x4 short, instead of replacing it.
If you would like i can send you the file

@aegeansccm
Of course they exist. 4x2 trucks aren't as uncommon in the US as you might think. I see them fairly often hauling double pup trailers or lighter 53' trailers.
Don't be fooled by the stereotypes; not all of our trucks are huge.
