Using the cab marker lights as strobe lights in real life is not legal in any State in the USA.

It's legal as long as the marker lights still do their job when they are not activated as warning lights, iirc.

Any reason this wouldn't be v1.36 compatible?

@cjandthebear1 Nothing should be stopping it from working. Might throw a PMD error because I haven't updated the models yet, but it's not gonna make anything explode. If something weird does happen with these, let me know.

Now that we're on v1.36 final instead of "Open Beta" I'll test em' out as much as possible on my extensive list of truck mods and get back to you shortly.

Any chance of making sequential turn signals for side running lights?

I haven't seen side runners used as sequential turn signals before on a truck, but it seems interesting. I'll think about it.

They would not be legal at night. But usually heavy or special loads that need strobes, or any flashing lights, run during the day time only. By law they must be parked 1 hour before sunset, and can only continue 1 hour after sun rise. I believe that is a Federal law. And it's why you will see them parked in rest areas for the night on Interstate Highways if caught unable to get off.

White cab marker lights are not legal at any time anywhere. The must be amber facing oncoming traffic. Even if a marker light lens is broken, at any position on the truck or trailer, you can receive a ticket.

I found that out myself by running a green center cab light, actually the center light on the head ramp crossmember. I was stopped by a PA State Trooper because of it. I didn't get a ticket as I had the amber lens with me. But I did get a warning citation and had to promise I would not do it again. He showed me the actual law and it did mention the whole USA... as in Federal.

I'm just looking at stuff that I know I couldn't get away with for mods IRL. Rear sequential's are cool too but I don't think that the trailer model would allow that type of tom foolery. If it does, then cool. I'm glad that this game doesn't simulate D.O.T. inspection or Federal Motor Carrier blacklisting as I would be toast from the times I just wanted to have fun.
