SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

I'd love to have all three styles of the stock Lumen lights with flash patterns. I've installed pattern C on all the trucks in my fleet that can actually use them (the high roof 579 and T680 don't have the slots for lights anymore, bit of a bummer there...) but I think the lights in your first iteration are the chunkiest-looking of all of the stock options. Still love them to bits though :)

As for the side lights, I'm happy with whatever you come up with. Heck, for the side lights, even an option to just turn them on with the beacons and leave them off entirely otherwise would be awesome, that's the main reason I typically don't use side lights on my trucks normally, not having the option of driving just my low beams and no marker lights... I wish SCS could have coded in some more options for light toggles.

The original download didn't work for me. Anyone else have this issue? Also, are you planning to get this on the Steam Workshop so it can be easily updated?

The google drive link still works on my end. What issue are you having?

Also V2 is done, I will have a Google Drive link available in the morning, and i'm trying to upload it to the Steam Workshop, but it's getting an undocumented error, so I might need help with it:

Code: Select all

ERROR [00004] (/universal/automat/44/44cf321629076bc2.mat): Material is not located in correct path. Please reconvert mod resources.
ERROR [00004] (/universal/automat/7c/7c5dab8410e80d9c.mat): Material is not located in correct path. Please reconvert mod resources.
ERROR [00004] (/universal/automat/ff/ff93f519047f02e6.mat): Material is not located in correct path. Please reconvert mod resources.
. . . which is stumping me because the file exists in that location, so I don't know what the validator wants from me. It throws no errors when used regularly, so people who want it on the workshop might have to wait.

Version 2 uploaded after a bit of delay, and some swearing, since the workshop uploader refuses to parse the files for this mod.
Check out the first post!

2.1 coming soon, as i'm going to add a version that uses the default SCS strobe pattern, so that you'll no longer need 7-9 cab lights to use this mod.

Hey LeafeonGold i came up with a new idea for you, you know the blinker bar that is on viper2 389/379 the one that looks like the ones fitted to this truck would it be possible to Incorporate the beacons into them?

Funny, I just saw that video today, as well.

I'll ask Paul if I can modify the parts from his truck, that's the only thing stopping me from doing the bullet lights from his mod. Shouldn't be too hard to do.

There's no reason why it shouldn't work. :D
