i have a sound question using the PACCAR MX13 engines (normaly got the 940hp engine but with the 800hp it is the same).
when drivin with these two engines after a while there is a crackle and rustle from time to time.
yesterday i used the "normal" detroid engine comming with the Cascadia and there was nothing like that so my soundsystem is not broken (and in ETS with the ETS modversion there are no problems).
can someone confirm this?

Well, I can't tell you that this happens to me personally. I do not experience that abnormal noise that you say. But if I can confirm something that I have noticed when working with fmod on my computer. When I am working on the engine sounds, and I open a project, there is no problem, but if I noticed that if I open for example: 4 different projects, even if I am only working with 1 of them, the sound is not good, there is like a kind of microcuts. I observed this long ago while working, and I have come to the conclusion that I should buy a new sound card, more powerful than the current one. Fmod, for some reason uses excess resources on the sound card, so I will choose to buy a new, more powerful one. As for your problem during the game, I have not observed that it happens.

hmm ok.
i changed the engine and did another trip and it happens after 20-30 min again.
but i think its my (old) 5.1 system.
the soundcard is "new" (6-8 months old) (Soundblaster AE-7).
so again another piece to change...
the weird part is it only happens in ATS...
did after a month+ again some ETS jobs because of the event and there is everything fine

I have a problem with the Paccar MX-13 940 engine for the Kenworth W900.

It does not appear in the shop.

Maybe someone can check it out?
I do not use any other engine mods

i had this engine before with this truck and it is in the shop (100%).
My soundproblem is fixed...
a cable was not 1000% correct connected in the soundcard... :/

I do find the 920 engine but not the 940 engine for the W900
