[REL] Flatbed Truck and Trailer Add-on for K100E

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

As the OP states, it should be a higher priority than the K100E. I have not seen that before.

and you don't have a physics mod which changes truck chassis? are you sure you don't add this to the ETS2 version? you placed this mod above the truck? there may be many reasons but if everything correct the mod will work correctly too! ;)

interesting then, it should be not the fault of other trucks here maybe post a gamelog for the author. my similar issue was solved after I updated the truck to the last version. however this mod may have some irregularities at level of defaults, it seems that the flatbed chassis must be added to more truck parts (as "suitable for"), more than it has been added already by the author, not sure if this can be a cause of the issue though. I added all "suitable for" lines and now this mod is error free and fits well to the truck

I will double check this when I get home tonight, but you shouldn't be seeing the VIT chassis's with the standard cab, at least I don't recall seeing them on the list, which suggest something other than my mod is going on here.

Are you configuring a new truck or an existing one you already own? If the latter, what happens if you try a new one?

the gamelog showed to me a conflict on ext_rack/2.sii, fender/2b.sii and trl_cables/2.sii, for the cables I found it weird, however I added

Code: Select all

suitable_for[]: "flat.kenworth.k100e_of.chassis"
to all 3 accessories and all errors were gone ;)
not sure if I had a mod conflict, I have about 30 truck mods connected in ATS but carefully checked for conflicts :D
I will try to make some BDF trailers for freight market as I am not too much on ownable trailers

I've fixed those errors by pointing to the proper default parts in the chassis def file.

My K100E doesn't show any chassis with "VIT" in the name as his video shows, something with his K100E is different than the one everyone else is using and there's nothing I can do to help at that point.
