While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

I'll probably upload a new version some time today. I will switch DD engines to Mercedes sounds, there will be some fixes and a couple of new diff ratios for DT gearboxes.

I found the issue, in each engine's sii the sound data has a double s, like this:

Code: Select all

# Ssound Data
sound: "/ssound/truck/mercedes_4148.bank"

Just a heads up, in 1.39 this does not cause a ctd, but no sound when truck is running.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

It seems that the fix is not that hard, so I should have an updated version out soon.

But we do need to have a chat. I have always used retarded as a way to control the engine brake as a way to show the animation and the auxiliary brake lines gave me the control over how the engine brake behaved. With the 1.39 the LoneStar, 49x and MACK switched the animation to engine brake. Should I switch it as well? I currently like the fact that I can use just one set of keybindings to control engine brakes in ATS and retarder in ETS2
