[REL] Separate state Highway Patrol and city police cars

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

i have no problem when using this mod, I did have issues with the addon for this mod.
Would it be possible to show/explain what issue is and caused you to disable it?

EDIT : nvm maker responded it will be updated

Thanks, hoseclamp72, for the note about fixing the errors introduced when SCS changed the parked spawning routines.

I am preparing an update to the mod to include your fix -- but I'm editing not the file from the mod but from the original game, as there have been other changes to other parked car and parked truck calls made by SCS in the mean time, so I'm making sure this mod doesn't eliminate any of those.

Gabenz88 mentioned at the last update that he had forgotten code to activate the otherwise included Bakersfield police textures, or at least one of them, so I'm going to poke around and see if I can figure out what code was missing and add that too.

OK, I've uploaded a new version to the non-Workshop version. The missing Bakersfield car was the Taurus. This now should be activated. I'll do a test of it as well to make sure it's working then will update the Workshop version.

OK, the Workshop version is updated as well. It took an awfully long time before a darn Taurus police car showed up in Bakersfield! I wondered if I had messed up something, but no, it's working.

This update does not remove the "unexpected file version" warnings that appear in the game console. As they don't affect the function of the mod for now, there's no urgency to re-save all the models with the latest SCS Blender tool version.

@Keeper: That can be resolved using the "conversion_dump_path" to convert the models to the newer version introduced in v1.6 (IIRC), then dropping them back into the mod.

Hi Keeper. I love your mod so much and now couldn't play ATS without it!. Question: Will you be continuing this amazing mod with future state releases like the much awaited New Mexico? :) I really hope so as i love the immersive variety of each county/states police liveries. :)

Thanks for the Steam update, the mod is working fine and now seeing patrol cars at the weigh stations, cool. Thank you for all your hard work.
