SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Is it possible to adjust trailer spawn rates? Could you remove the triple axle 53s and tandem 48s and replace with tandem 53s?

Additional cab configs are planned! I can't really provide a timeline as this is all work I do in the freetime when I'm in the mood hah
But yes, eventually I wanna include all available cab configs into the traffic
So things like SBA 49x, 48" and 72 low roof Cascadia, 48" Mack Anthem, Hi-Rise Lonestar/LT, ect.

As well as remove some of the more silly trailer combos. Like sleepers pulling 28" flatbeds
Probably will do that when I add "specialized" AI trucks. Like trucks that pull flatbeds/sliding tarps will have a headache rack equipped (Tho that might have be a separate addon that requires the Forrest Machinery DLC, since I don't think SCS is cool with me including DLC content. Even its just on AI traffic)

Oh, and to answer the original question. 48" trailers I'll def keep, but perhaps limit them to daycabs since its usually the local/regional trucks that pull those.
Triple axle 53s are pretty rare so I'll probs bin those, if not make them rare.
My ultimate goal is to emulate what you see on US interstates. Which a large portion is trucks pulling 53s, but also keep the variety enough so you see more "farm truck" esque trucks in the rural areas pulling stuff like hay and grain

@bwae, I downloaded your mod today, and oh my word! What a WONDERFUl difference this makes. I've noted via a few pages back about the influx of Freightliner New Cascadias and VNL spawning. I'm more than happy to wait for that fix knowing what other wonderful attributes this mod contributes and new features that are in the pipeline. And hopefully, someday, we won't need these types of mods because SCS will finally get around to diversifying their ai truck traffic (I won't hold my breath).

I tried the mod all this week and I love it, although I would like to make 2 suggestions for when you have free time, about the 389, W900 and Lonestar to appear a little more in traffic and do you think it is possible to re-implement the 389 model with the chrome rims and fenders?

I tell you, visiting truck stops and driving on major highways has become that much more exciting with all of the truck representation that this mod brings. I really hope the SCS team takes note of the benefits of this mod.

Huh, I don't recall removing it, def file might've gotten removed accidentally.
I wanna someday re-do the wheels on the trucks too. The SCS steel and chrome rims look ugly on some trucks imo

Great buddy. Could you implement chrome grill of Anthem as well ?
