SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Yes, you will have to tweak them too or you will have that adverse effect.
I had that feeling with Jazzycat painted trucks pack, with this mod enabled and jazzycat one at the same time it seems there is only trucks on every damn road.

@LAFAYET47 @yaumeister First, let me just note that this mod isn't meant to support any traffic packs, but I do try to make it as compatible as possible.
In regard to some vehicles over spawning, there really isn't a happy medium. For example, I could multiply my spawn ratios, but then that causes some problems. For example, if a vehicle has a .1 spawn ratio, I could multiply it by for example, ten, to make it more compatible. However, to ensure the ratios all remain the same relative to each other (which is essential given the mod's premise), you quickly have other default vehicles over spawning and now you have a different problem.
What I may do when I have more time (perhaps next week), is investigate to see if only altering it for certain vehicle classes would help matters. In 1.40, SCS introduced new vehicle classes, including light trucks and medium trucks. I could, just as an example, multiply light trucks by five, and medium trucks by 3. However, even then, you run into issues with it possibly being compatible with one pack and incompatible with another, as there is hardly a standard for traffic spawn rates among modders.

Re: [REL] Proper Traffic Variety (1.40, 3/21/21, Montana Expansion Support)
Thanks for the explanation. I do love the concept and it works great on its own.
IMHO it's not the ratio of vehicle classes that is the problem, it's more to do with the spawn ratio from within the "cars" class. When jazzycat has in his AI traffic "cars" pack with most vehicles with a default spawn ratio of 1, and even rare cars like a Corvette with 0.2. I guess you can say the scale he uses between 0.01 to 1.0 ratio is very different to yours.
Hopefully there is a happy balance between realistic ratio based on data, and proportional ratio so that default AI vehicles don't significantly lose out to traffic pack ones.

I don't know where this idea that those Isuzu trucks aren't in the US came from. Where I live I see four or five every time I leave my house. We also have a Fuso in the area.
Maybe it's because we live on the I-5 Corridor, but we see oodles of semis all over. The default SCS traffic ratio is just about right for our area as far as the Big Rigs go.

Interesting effect.... using the latest Jazzycat motorcycles with this mod I only see motorcycles and semis.

@Kenworth Gal I find the SCS default ratio is great for the Interstate, beyond that, it isn't great.
That certainly is an interesting effect, I would try changing your load order around. I haven't looked into that pack specifically, and I have no idea if that'll fix anything, but it's worth a shot.

@DW1899 Our town is exceptional for trucks. But when you get out in the county a bit it tapers off..... in the real world. Not so with SCS default.
I had Jazzycat Motorcycles below your mod. I'll try above. Thanks.

They almost all turn into motorcycles with the mod below the bikes. With the mod above the bikes, there's little or nothing, and it's motorcycles if anything.

that entire line coming at me is motorcycles except the one car. lol

@Kenworth Gal I'll have to look into it, as I've stated previously, while this mod doesn't support traffic packs, I would like to make it as compatible as possible. I might push out some bug fix in the near future, but the next feature update won't be for a while, I'm working on having the mod take effect in all fifty states.

Looks like those crazy crotch rocket swarms. If this was a major metro area it could be realistic hahaha
