SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check chapters [4] and [5] of Forum Rules.

It might be not a .zip but a .rar. Anyway, contains three files ( vehicle - def - material).
Put that file you received unextracted to your mod folder, activate it to the mod manager & you'll be ok.
Otherwise if you are familiar with the situation, take those three files & make an .scs file

I haven't extracted anything - it's downloaded already extracted, not as .zip or .rar. I even tried zipping it myself, but I'm on a Mac and I don't have WinZip/WinRar; I have Unarchiver. I do not know how to make .scs files. Maybe it's a Mac thing. Good looking skin, though.

Have you thought about reskinning the Wallbert trailer to match your truck? It could really use a facelift IMO.

Macs automatically unzip downloaded files. Because .scs files are just renamed .zip files they get unzipped too. You can also compress them yourself. Highlight the 3 folders inside the one you downloaded and right click -> compress items. This should create a .zip file called Archive.zip. Rename it to whatever you want and change the file extension to .scs.

US DOT number is the registration number with the US Dept of Transportation-- all commercial truck companies must have a DOT number.
MC is an Interstate Operating Authority number-- this is for companies that are available for hire (a carrier that only hauls it's own freight wouldn't need this, but if you haul something for somebody else, you need an Authority)
KYU is a tax registration number for the state of Kentucky.
