[REL] Prime Inc. Truck & Trailer Skins

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check chapters [4] and [5] of Forum Rules.

[REL] Prime Inc. Truck & Trailer Skins

Put the finishing touches on the first truck skin, and it's ready for download. However, I'll be working on the Peterbilt 579 skin shortly. This current skin is only available for the Kenworth T680.

Installation:
1. Download the .scs file from Sharemods
2. Move to the /Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod folder
3. Enable the mod in the in-game Mod Manager
4. Enjoy!

I'll update this topic as I progress more :)

for the full Prime INC experance the cab needs to use aero rims and the box trailer needs under skirts and a trailer tail and the speed limiter set to 60mph
I'm on a mission to ensure the city of Pittsburgh is accurately represented in ATS.

Actually, not all Prime trucks have the aero rims. And not all trailers have the skirts and tails. Also, the governor is set to 63mph for company drivers, 65mph for lease drivers. :)

But adding the skirts and tails to the trailers requires knowledge of how to use Blender, which I don't have the patience for.

Zilladotexe is right. Our older trailers that are still in circulation don't come with sideskirts or trailer tails. We're phasing them out, though.


This scheme is pretty accurate. Maybe in a future release, you can make the color of the "Prime Inc." text and the overall color of the trailer selectable? They don't call us the Skittles company for nothing. ;)
