What's the best way to resize these so they're somewhat readable in game? I have Photoshop.

I just bring them into the skin in the editor (I use Gimp) as a new layer, resize and place.

What size do you resize them to?

Well that varies, depending on template and sticker. Your best bet is to look at photographs of the actual truck with similar size stickers.

A good starting point for IFTA stickers, I've found, is to size them roughly to the height of a door handle on the truck you're skinning. Then you can tweak from there. And remember when scaling images to scale down, not up, so if you go too small, undo the scaling process and try again.

EDIT: The reason why I made many of the stickers so large is because of the scaling needed. I do not want my textures to be too small on any given truck template. So my IFTA stickers are scaled to real world, 3" square. Never will there be a need for a larger IFTA sticker lol.

Yes I know the scaling of stickers can be tedious, but if you take the time to do it as close to real as you can get, it really makes a difference.

I couldn't have said it better myself. A related tip is to use a reference photo from your desired skin on a real-life vehicle as part of your template. Find a nice side shot, place it in a layer above the wireframe template, reduce its opacity so that the wireframe is visible beneath it, and size & skew it to fit the wireframe.

This gives you a near-perfect reference for the size and position of your skin's details.
