ATS Example file structure mod using templates (Includes Volvo VNL 2018)

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Hmm, I would need to mod the mod, right? (haha I know) I know there are customizable photos with frames in the pack, but I didn't see anything that could help us put our own graphics on the windshield. Or maybe I'm blind :D

Yeah you would have to mod the mod. haha. I haven't downloaded or tried it yet but it adds the accessories to the windshields like in ETS. So that skips you having to do that part. Just have to make an accessory.

I've a question. I'm attempting to use this template, but I don't know what program to use to edit the .dds file. None of the programs on my computer seem to be able to open them. What types of programs are other people using, and what is recommended?

Im using Gimp (gimp.org). A few updates ago added support for .dds so you don't need to download a plugin. Its also free so that is a plus. When exporting I keep everything default except mipmaps to generate mipmaps. Ive never had a problem with my .dds files from gimp.

What Alarthon said, also i believe paintDOTnet also has a dds plugin built in, i don't use either of those programs.

If you already have Photoshop you'd need to add the plugin:
Nvidia version: https://developer.nvidia.com/legacy-texture-tools
Intel version: https://software.intel.com/content/www/ ... lugin.html

When using Photoshop i had some issues with an older Nvidia version, but the Intel version works flawlessly for me.

Seeing they updated their RGB UI, I added an example of RGB for the Kenworth 680 and 900. RGB works for all trucks and you just need to edit the files to fit other trucks if you want to make a RGB paintjob for them.
