Tesla Semi for ATS 1.36

The owner is Frank Peru. But a while ago I asked permission about another mod & never get any reply. So I didn't share any of his mods after edit. But if anyone can get the permission I am willing to share the edited definition & texture with them. I can work with def & texture but not good with blender editing.

I donated money to Frank hoping that he would get back with me about getting it fixed but he never did. I'm fairly to new the ATS community but I'm guessing if you give him the credit for his work, is that ok?

I'm not really interested in taking credit for any of the work. Frank can have it. I just wanted to use the mod in the latest version.

Here is what you need to do
1. Put all the files in Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod
2. Start American Truck Simulator in OpenGL mode
3. Open Mod Manager and put files in whatever you think is correct load order
4. Save that and go into game
5. Go to Truck Dealer - Access Mod Dealer
It may take a while to load, and you may get a few giant lag spikes
6. Click on the Tesla and buy it
7. You got it!
@TeslaHugger is working on a fix for the mod, so that you don't have to do all that but if you want to play it as it is now, go ahead as see what happens

Tried this just a bit ago - Was able to buy in in OpenGL mode - then went into DirectX mode & as soon as I select it to drive it - game crashes.

That is good news to see someone is working on this great truck.
Frank's mods are incredibly great and good to see people keeping them alive
My favorite and most used truck was in ATS as well in ETS the Semi Soo increble how it accelerate, like on real videos

Has anything come of this? The Tesla semi has been my #1 wishlist item since it was announced.

Hey guys we are on version 1.38 and has anyone tested the Tesla Semi?
I can see the Tesla Semi. But i need to be Level 13 to purchase it. So am working towards it.
I will keep this thread posted.
