Could you, please, post the content of the skin definition? Use the code tag.

Re: Skinning Tutorial: From A to Z
If you are using ETS2 studio, you have to check something like "use alternate uv set" unless you are making it for the W900, then leave it blank. I believe its in the video.

Re: Skinning Tutorial: From A to Z
I also explained that in the comments of the video. Alt UV depends entirely on the template you are downloading. Some templates are meant for Alt UV (which are supposed to work for ALL trucks, hence not as "good") while others are meant ONLY for that truck (in other words, REALLY GOOD for THAT particular truck)
In any other case, make your own templates: viewtopic.php?f=172&t=189929
And make sure you get them saved as PNG (or use SVG if your app supports that) in the highest possible quality you can get. Blender doesn't do such a good job of it IMHO so here's an alternative: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=188456
And feel free to use the truck template editor in ETS 2 Studio for now. Since i don't have ATS currently, someone should just post the database.wtt file they made in ETS 2 Studio here so users can use that for now.
That or WC should supply one.

Re: Skinning Tutorial: From A to Z
Sorry for my late reply, have been in hospital. I will first try the alternate UV set option, if that is not working I will post the skin definition
Thanks for the replies

Re: Skinning Tutorial: From A to Z
I would like to know the name of every piece in the templates. that would make it a lot easier to paint instead of hunt and peck..
Also when I do a shin a piece at a time and try it in the game to see what it looks like, I get texture not found in the icon and in the skin. I am totally confused because I have skinned other truck and they work fine..

Naming the parts is entirely up to the person making the template. You will rarely find templates with the parts named unfortunately.

Is there an A to Z skinning tutorial for TRAILERS using ETS2 Studio?
