Re: Load Order - ATS v1.40 Map Combos (Updated 3 april 2021 - CanaDream)

#81 Post by TMLM » 04 Apr 2021 16:50

When I tried CanaDream 2.40.1 with the newly standalone Montana expansion 0.9.9.6 I had broken roads and missing connections in Montana, when I changed back to CanaDream 2.40 they were connected. I would have posted screenshots but for some reason I always get an "http error" when trying to upload the pics...
Sorry for walls of texts, I often can't keep myself short...

I too had a lot of broken roads within Montana itself. So I tried to rearrange the loading order and the broken roads seems to be gone. I haven't test it yet, however, by driving / taking jobs in Montana, but viewing the map doesn't lead to a crash, which is a good sign.

Can't add checkpoints when zoomed in on Truckee in map
Which mod might be causing this?

It seems that Australia Outback Map (AUO) and Reforma don't like each other... If I put AUO above Reforma I get missing textures, broken roads, terrain gaps, floating mountains, etc, alongside the I-80 between Reno and Elko. If I put AUO below Reforma ATS even crashes to desktop. So for now I've removed AUO from the load order (2. Coast to Coast). I haven't checked the other load order (4. Combo without Reforma) yet, so maybe it works, but maybe it also doesn't work.

@azumukupoe I think that's a bug with Reforma. I've the same error. I'll report it there.

Hello beautiful Vinnie. Have you ever mentioned Minor Urban Overhaul 1.40? This mod interests me a lot but I wonder if it is compatible with reforma 2.1.4, C2C, Montana and Canadream?
And if so, where would you place it in your load order? Thank you

I think I will give it a try and test it. But don't count on it too much: there are a lot versions, patches and crashes mentioned in the latest posts in the MUO topic.
If you want to try out yourself, just use the load order that is mentioned in the last few posts in the MUO topic.

@Vinnnie. I did a lot of testing and nothing I tried worked. Unfortunately, this mode does not seem to be compatible with Reforma 2.1.4
I saw defeoac on a discord server, I will look for info and I will give you news

@Vinnie. I saw your post on Minor Urban Overhaul, I will try your load order as shown
Vinnie Terranova wrote: 08 Apr 2021 06:58 Did you use the patch made by defeoac?
Yes

Edit... @Vinnnie
I got a response from Defeoac. Here his loading order. Thank you

It is strongly recommended not to take Minor Urban Overhaul V12 mod. Here is the response from Defeoac and that of PaZz :

PaZz —today at 14:56
The improvements are, as the name of the mod states, "Minor"
The problem of MUO in my opinion is that it covers too many sectors, thus breaking quickly when other mods update

defeoac — today at 15:00
That's why I recommend sticking with the Lite version. It covers only the changes in California and Phoenix and that's it. The other sectors in MUO are really just unnecessary, and I said that there are some sectors that are outdated because of new service signs.

Here is the Defeoac link of the LiteUrbanOverhaul_Extra mod
He is very difficult to find. Thank you
