for use case look into ETS2 1.27 beta. sounds in engines is linked via "overrides" instead of "defaults", and then there is no need for "suitable" in sound def if used properly - this mean sound doesn't need to know all engines in game anymore, they are passively picked and overridden by engines. it should simplify modding and prevent some mod conflicts.
