@akima My mod does not modify anything that may affect it, only rain textures and sounds. So it does not affect any other type of textures of trucks, wheels, lights etc..

That problem may be related to some mod that modifies colors/weather.

New version is ready for Download:
v3.4.1

- Adjusted sound level of rain (outside view)
- Rework the "interior" sound of rain (rain hitting the cab / windshield); Now 3D sound, adjusted sound volume...
Workshop version also updated.

@Darkcaptain - Awesome work! Did you happen to find out how the rain_int parameter works?

I was guessing it meant "rain interior", but maybe it could mean "rain intensity".

About the parameter "rain_int" I thought so before, but now I am convinced that its meaning is "rain_intensity" :)

I have done hundreds of tests using that parameter in different ways, but strange things happen ... for example, if I change the game schedule from the console (to change the intensity of the rain) it is remarkable the change of the sound of the volume when it appears a "maximum intensity rain" .. perfect, but this does NOT happen "automatically" while playing (without using the console) :?: :?: is very very strange ... This must be due to the functions added in the "rain_int" parameter, but what are they or how is it configured? big question...

Instead, the sound of the "outside" rain varies automatically without additional parameters.

Also, in this latest version I have added the rain in the Routing "Exterior> Truck_noise", with 3D sound and adjusting the positioning and distance, it sounds better. The SCS sound also uses this "routing".

I hope to continue improving and learning, but it is difficult and frustrating during many hours of testing and not achieving the goal! damn parameter "rain_int" :lol:

Guys, for whom you have the latest version, Is the sound-level of the rain comfortable and correct? bearing in mind, now the sound varies a lot with the windows open or closed, I try to find a sound volume that is comfortable, so any feedback is always welcome ;)

i dont get as much heavy thunder out of the thunder add on mod as much as i used to i used to get it about 50% of the time now since 1.37 i havent noticed any
