SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

The only ones I have are all 3 of yours, in regards to changing companies. I have Realistic Corner Shops first, then Real Life Companies Revival next, then finally Real Gas Stations Revival Project. Now that you mentioned it, I realize that I have Real Gas Stations Revival in the wrong spot. Thanks for the help & keep up the great work. I love your mods

Any plans on updating all 3 of your mods to include the same changes to Wyoming? I'm getting the Real Life Companies mod's icons on the map but the models aren't changing. I can understand if you're in the process of doing this as I'm writing this & apologize for being impatient, but I'm just curious. Thanks! Love your mods btw!

will this be put on Steam? I do not know how to mod this game yet otherwise...

I don't believe there's any plan to put it on the Steam Workshop.
Adding a non-Steam Workshop mod is easy:
Some modders publish their mods in .zip files instead of .scs files. The game recognizes either one, with one important caution -- Some .zip files might contain additional information and a .scs or .zip file inside. Always look inside a .zip file to see if it's a container for the actual mod file. If it is, just drop only the mod file in your "mod" folder.
Adding a non-Steam Workshop mod is easy:
- Download the mod from the link on the first page. (Personally, I strongly suggest using an ad-blocker in your browser when downloading from any of the mod download hosting sites.)
- You'll get an .scs file in your downloads folder on your computer.
- For ATS mods, cut-and-paste or copy-paste the mod to "C:\Users\<your username>\Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod" (full path) or "<username>\Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod" (Shortened path often seen in the Windows File Explorer)
- Don't worry if there are no other files there -- If you haven't started using non-Steam Workshop mods yet, there won't be any. The game knows where to look.
- Launch ATS and go into the Mod Manager. The mod will be available to add just like a Steam Workshop mod.
