My 1st peter got the average jam in 6.5mpg for a long time, regard my drive style. and dismatch my manual calculation after each mission. only after I change my truck (another peterbilt), that indcator works propely

yes, its average computed from last trip reset (see options/keys).
after long distance it will change very slowly or not at all.

So Max, in this case it's better to reset the fuel data every time we fill up?
It's something very common in real life. Drivers from my company for example do that on each tank fill. The thing is that most of the trucks use 2 or 3 different fuel data slots these days, so the drivers can keep one for the entire month and another to reset on each fill up.

in game there is single data "slot" for that. and you can use it for whatever you want.
someone may want average per job, someone may want average per fuel tank, someone may want average per week or per truck lifetime.
