Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

I might have fun with this truck and end up deleting the Custom 351 mod from Steam withs its skins if the skinners make some cool skins for this, like PIE, Texaco, Shell, Sinclair, etc.

Yes it is. Looks like an old beater should as far as ATS will allow it to go.

An old beater you say...

[ external image ]

I think it prefers to be called 'experienced'. ;) I'm going to see how much paint job system...ness I can stand before I go crazy.

I also got around to doing the windshield for the ~1952 cabin variant:

This might end up being a fairly versatile mod whenever it's finished.

That's what I call the workhorses where I'm from. We call vehicles that are beat to the death and look ready for the junkyard, but still run "beater with a heater."

The 'Duel' Peterbilt was a 281 (there were two built, a 1956 and a 1960), however a 1964 351 was used in a few scenes when the movie was extended for cinema release, such as the extended gas station/laundromat scene, the school bus push and the railroad crossing push.
