SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Without the people at the top, we wouldn't be here at the bottom. Enjoy the truck. I have some more coming for it, but Its a bit down the road right now.

UPDATE 4: Workshop updated regarding rear steps on 379/EXHD. Also, updated an issue with the 330 hood.

UPDATE 3: Updated to 1.37 and on the workshop. Added tilt and extend steering, window animations (in and outside) and crank handles. Next update will be more fixes and new dash gauges. The old ones are hard to read.

UPDATE 2: This was converted to the HFG Project 3XX. There are many more options coming to this truck and don't forget to check out Deezle's additions to it. The Website version is still the 377 version from 1.33.xx

UPDATE:
Now available for 1.32 with moar parts and 2 new chassis! Same links as below!

I’m delighted with this truck, but a little confused. Is this just an alternate thread for the truck and it’s really the same one as here?

viewtopic.php?f=207&t=252779

Also, your web site URL Gives me error 404. The “s” is missing at the end of 9downloads”

Oh, and thank you for the credits!

BK, its the release thread. I'm going to start being on here more regularly so I figured I should have a thread I'm in control of is all.

Also, link fixed.

Glad to see you on here more. I find the SCS forums a lot less dramatic than all the Facebook groups. (usually)

Peterbilt 357 Heavy Haul by [HFG]

#7 Post by BK Vissers » 04 Jul 2018 00:18

You don't have a topic for this truck on the forum so I'm posting this here. If you want it elsewhere let me know.

I made a steer axle fix for the 357 Heavy Haul tractor. Since 1.31 you have to specify steer axles for trucks and trailers in the chassis.sii files. I found 4 defs that needed fixing. Here is the file. The only thing I touched in each file is adding the steer axles defs, so you can replace the chassis def files in your mod with these if you like. :)

It's in my dropbox, no login required

I must say, this is a fine mod! Nicely done. If I had my druthers, I'd like to see cabin accessories nodes for this truck and the 377, but please don't take that as a complaint in any way.

It's magnificent!

Also, your web site shows a Peterbilt Dump Truck, but’s it’s not in Steam Workshop. Is that an error? I’m quite curious about it.

Hi BK!

I took the Dump down because GTM has the 567 out, and that's all the Dump was with a daycab, and I didn't feel like listening to everyone tell me it doesn't work with it. (they are named the same unsurprisingly).

Just only recently started running this myself, gotta say man you did a damn fine job. It's a lot better built than the 378 mod that's been floating around.
