[DISC] Volvo VNL 2018 fix

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

1) Never ever ask for a mod update during beta. Specially such a big update where things can change daily. And you are not suppose to run mods on this beta anyway because they change the look of the whole game.
2) How am I suppose to update a mod with no updated tools?

Now for the PSA: All of my mods work fine in the game. Read it as, they won't cause any crashes. But all of them will need updates and changes to be made. When that will happen, I can't say, since we need to get updated blender tools first, detailed and final change logs and guides, and I doubt that will happen before the end of the beta. And after that it will depend on how much work I want to put into each mod. I suspect that at start I will only do minor updates where the most obvious things get fixes and do larger changes later on, but we will see when we get there.

Dear mr. @galimim, .what engine sound does this truck has? Your own sound, SCS original sound, or Kriechbaum's Volvo D13 Sound? Cheers

D13 engine sound is made by me and X15 sound is from Kriechbaum.

@galimim Together with your updated International LT one of my favorite trucks in the game. Always loved the look of the new VNL/VNR. Hope it will officially find it's way into the game eventually.

Here is a test version for the 1.40 beta. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

The realistic headlights are still a bit of work in progress, so if anyone wants to play with the settings to make them look nicer, I am open to your input.

Version 2.27. 1.39 games. the console shows many mat errors. Can these be somehow disappeared? There should be no error in the console

The too many indices is from the original mod author, FranckPeru. Franck is notorious for butchering models that become fps hogs.

Galimim is not going to fix those. He has stated that in the past several times.

Something you have to live with or the other option is not using the mod.
You can never make a miserable person who complains about everything happy. They live by "If I can't be happy then no one can be happy."
