this has probably been asked and answered but i'll ask anyways.....any chance of making some round headlights as an option and having a 1980 k100 dash.....just being hopeful as i grew up watching bj and the bear.....this truck is already one of favorites...it would make much better! thanks for all the work you put into this mr. overfloater!

You are right, this has been asked several times, but the earlier k100 model is completely different truck, it has different cab, which would take hella lot of time to make

The dash on the K100 never changed through the production run.

The K100C cab was teased on page 125. So yes there's a chance it gets made one day, but I'm fairly sure overfloater is focusing on the 1980's-90's Kenworth project at the moment

Hello everyone

Just a complete noob skinning question if I may; would someone be able to give me some direction on how to incorporate a second template into a skin (ie the “1” or “Aerokit” templates)? I’ve managed to create my first skin (using GIMP and ATS studio) just using the Aerodyne template, but would like the ability to texture the visor.

Thanks for your consideration

The template packs include a "combined.png" that has all the parts and different cabins.
If you use the UV1 the "combined1.png" seems to be the correct one to use as it matches the others like cab1 etc.

You can of course also put each template on a different layer in your image.
I don't know how Gimp works and what it is capable of concerning layers, but basically you load a template image, select all, copy to clipboard, than go to your image (the one you are painting in) , create a new (raster) layer, select all and paste from clipboard into selection.
This is how I do it in Paint Shop Pro. The "select all" and "paste into selection" is to line it up the correct way. Might work different in Gimp.

Make sure not to paint directly onto the templates. Create new layers you paint on and blend the template layer(s) in and out when you need them to crosscheck.
This way you will always have the original template(s) available in your file.
Don't use "dds" as a working file. It won't save the layers and uses a high compression method that is not lossless.
Use some native Gimp format in your case and "save as" to create the dds files.

@MaxCry Aha! That makes sense now - those parts on the aerokit template etc fit the voids in the cab templates. Thanks for your help! :D

Just being curious, will SFA version ever get sisl's megapack support so we could fill hanging items and passenger seat slots?
