Kenworth K100-E

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Thanks Tarso, I try it. My 64 bit ATS isn't the offline version... it only runs thru Steam. No Steam, No ATS. ;) If he updated it, mine should have been automaticly updated thru the Steam Workshop. Looks like it wasn't.

I've been working on getting ATS back running since the latest SCS update but it's a no go. My other profiles I started to test mods with are iffy if they'll run or not. Oh well, back to testing. Thanks.

Yeah, check the verison.ssi file and see if it has the 1.42 line in it already, if not you can add it and when it gets updated on steam it will override the file you edited without problem.

T, I'm not savvy with changing anything to do with mod files. I do have Notebook++ but can't get it to work properly. No big deal tho.

I did find I had the K100e fix and deactivated it. Also deactivated the KW engine mod. I'm getting ready to start ATS but have a few more incompatible mods to deactivate and remove. I'll be back later to let you know how I did or didn't make out. ;) LOL Again my thanks.

I just hope 1.42 won't make a mess of things when it's sprung on us. ;)

Edit/Update:

The K100e Fix was part of the problem, plus engine mods that "expired", and a couple of other mods that were no longer useable due to probably being updated. So all is well now. I can continue on with my 1125 deliveries made and 650,000 mile+ profile. Thanks again T, your wisdom got me thinking harder to get this fixed. Plus looking thru the game log to find the problems.

Well I thought all was well. I drove from Denver with a load going to San Francisco and got as far as just before entering Bakersfield and it crashed. I checked and all files are "Verified". Back to a new profile to check mods one at a time.

before you spend half a decade doing that, check the cause of the crash in the game.log to at least narrow it down

oscu0, I did and found there were a lot of mods that no longer worked in 1.41. I had to get rid of them because they weren't updated. Probably will be the same for 1.42.

In most cases you just need to change the version number in the manifest file.

I've no way to change the version number in the manifest file. I have Notepad++ but can't get it to work. Actually, I'm not savvy on working with the .scs files.
