Kenworth K100-E

Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

I think it's okay to point out some issues with a mod. But it's the way how you say it you have to be careful about:

- Be careful with using negative words
- Be very careful with using negative emoticons
- Don't be personal / don't play the man (I don't know how to say this in English)

Hello, when will the 1.41 update be available  ? Mr Overfloater humour

I'm not an expert on US trucks, as I'm from France, I'm more informed on EU trucks.

But I've been on the community for almost 9 years now, and I've never heard of you! ! !

Well I got nothing to say now. The thing that was bothering me the most is actually getting updated I hope. I assume since @overfloater had posted an update in other topic and didn't mention he does still work and update the K100. Sorry for the stormhope we will se the better version of the legendary K100 soon

Ironically enough, I spoke from experience.

I'm not, it's an unrelated work.
Anaheim wrote: 13 Jun 2021 18:38I'm surprised with what you stand for and that you don't want to provide quality. Those details and accuracy with real truck is building the whole thing.
I stand for correct cab shapes. Which happens to be my only demand with truck models.

@LudoModding - There isn't anything to update, only version compatibility. As soon as the SCS uploader gets updated.
That is, if you discount all the stuff i skipped for the 1.40 update.
flight50 wrote: 13 Jun 2021 20:36 For me, it didn't seem constructive.

It would have helped if you led a bit more that you are a modder
I'm struggling with this. You've ignored all the claims, and just focused on addressing the person.

He gave very specific description of the issues, which you can clearly see are correct*, if you have the mod.
Why does it matter whether he's a modder or not? That cable will be missing no matter who wrote this:
4. Cable for power mirrors is missing
* except the last one.

I ignored nothing though but I clearly stated, to me, it wasn't constructive. Just my opinion. Sorry if you disagree. Many people don't see what he sees and don't have a problem with the mod as is. I don't expect anyone else to share or understand my thought because I spoke for myself, I didn't speak for anyone else. Whether he is correct or not doesn't change the nature of the tone imo. Again sorry if you disagree.

Lol, reminds me of my days in the old 18 Wos community 10+ years ago. Those "modders" were a dime a dozen over there. Needless to say, we never considered it a loss when they inevitably quit. Overfloater is the real deal. I haven't admired another person's commitment to a good low poly model this much since Ivan Zvada (the guy who made the original model of that Peterbilt 379 everyone converted over when ATS was first released).

I don't understand why you would say something like this. I do understand you point of view with your request but realistically what would they achieve, their only minor cosmetic changes which really don't affect the overall result.

I could nit pick alot of things of SCS and modded trucks that would make them better but I tend to not to for the fact that most of the points are not functional to use and 2 is just a game at the end of the day. There good enough for me to enjoy playing the game and cases like this K-100e superb for what you get. I would just be glad that there are modders still around that take in really good detail and also proper feedback of using customer order manuals for what you could spec the truck of with from the factory in that era and that there is rare.

Although @overfloater I looked at your thread on the media page and noticed you said your W900 project is private, I understand if that is the case but the images that you posted look superb, hopefully one day we all get the chance to try out W900 as well :D
