SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Although I use the same name on every forum I use, the one you mentioned, I am not there. I never heard of it. I am on GTplanet, a couple of fish forums, a couple of honda forums and a couple of bmw forums. This is the only forum I have been active on since I joined though.

In regards to hiring overfloater, by no means am I discrediting the current vechicle team. They are not the problem. They can alwyas use more on the team though. But my thought process is that SCS doesn't have time for classic trucks. Trucks that are out of production. That is where overfloater comes into play. He did a great job by only using pic references.....just like SCS did for the first 5 trucks.

Not quite that. We just want older trucks in modern setting. :) Though ATS set in, say, 70s or 80s seems to be a great idea.

As Trucker-71 said the dash vents are wrong. In the KW-100 they're flat, where as in a Pete COE they are the ones Overfloater used for his K-100E.

As much I agree it would be nice to see the classic trucks in the game officially, Y'all forget one big key factor in all of this.. L I C E N S I N G!!! without it, nothing can be done. Manufacturers don't want to showcase their classics in this game. So they won't give the license. Case Closed, Give Up On It

@PXM Twizt3d Your comment is nothing more than an opinion of yours. Where's your reference where SCS said no classics. Where's the references manufacturer's said no to old trucks?

My collection of references says that this is only 36% correct.
So far i have 25 k100e listings, that have the vent parts visible on their photos. 9 trucks don't have round vents, the other 16 do. One tendency i've noticed is that from 1989 onwards, all trucks have round vents. (in said collection)

Trucker71 is probably correct, but not the way you interpreted him.

The model is accurate enough for me. I have never sat down and attempted to compare this game version to its real life counter part. For your first truck mod....this truck is still perfect for me.
