Kenworth K100-E

While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

If the K100e is a homerun then the W900 would be knocked out of the park. ;)

^Agreed. My two favorite Kenworths done by the same modder was going to be perfect for my ATS garage. I'll settle for overfloater's K100 and SCS's W900. I run 3 profiles and have a W900 on each one. I only run mod trucks and map mods on my 3rd profile. So while waiting on updates I play my first profile (original). For open beta's, I play my 2nd profile which is a vanilla profile. So the W900 is me all the way but when I am feeling old school, I can't turn my head on my K100. I really wish SCS had a way to make it official. But if they did, they everyone would be scream about others getting in. The K100e is as close to perfect as you can get and is even better quality than the first 5 SCS trucks.

If I remember right, overfloater had two W900’s. A reworked SCS version which he wasn’t proud of and kept private, and the 80’s-90’s KW.
Just sayin. Still loving the K100

Yes your right but what I found odd is that the 80's -90's thread is locked but the title of [closed] isn't on it. Perhaps he requested it to be locked until he starts it back up again.

But yes, in the meantime, we still have the K100. I like using it on the profile I play ProMods Canada as my all around truck. I use the 6x4 only though. The 8x4 just doesn't look right to me in a North American COE. Primarily because I just never any growing up as a kid as I see conventionas with now. But, at least overfloater added the option for 8x4 to begin with. Either you like it, or you don't.

Most likely 80s-90s W900 is just on hold, I'm pretty sure of it

I hope so. It can be on hold for as long as it need to be. As long as it not canceled, I'm cool :D . I'm just hoping it can be as popular and widely used as the K100. I sure it could be though. Lots of W900 fans and I'm one of them. In all honestly, I really wish SCS would hire overfloater to head up a classic dlc pack. The job he did with just pic references and other means (non CAD references) is by far better than the first 5 trucks in the game. I think he deserves a not more respect and get paid from SCS.

I love the K100E, I've purchased a few of them. They make the extra long trailers easier to navigate. Plus the truck looks like the trucks I used to see on the highway as a kid. Thanks for your work Overfloater, having this truck to drive made ATS twice as much fun for me.

New to ATS and the K100E mod (tbh the whole reason I got ATS). Not sure if this glitch has been mentioned in the past 213 forum pages, so I apologize if I am repeating it. I purchased a K100E VIT FLattop from the dealer, and in the customization menu it is only showing three axle configuration options. However if I select the VIT Aero first it shows several more chassis/axle configurations, including the steerable tag axle. I can then change the cab type to the Flattop and those additional options carry over. In no way game-breaking, just sort of odd. Same thing goes for a couple of the interior accessory slots (passenger seat, rear bunk area & hanging items/CB). They don't show when selecting the flattop from the dealer, but selecting the Aero first then switching it resolves this. But for all I know this issue is unique to me.

All that said, I want to thank Overfloater for such an awesome mod!! Absolutely fantastic work!
