@LeGeekDad there will be a Chevy Bison variant, Smarty has shown some pictures of it in this thread.
Re: [WIP] GMC General
I drove a General for a guy up North in NY. Hauled lumber out of Canada to PA for the factories that built double wide homes. Hauled logs or junk cars back up to Canada. Logs went to a huge yard in Contrecoeur, Quebec. Then they were loaded on to ships that went back out into the Atlantic and made veneer, which was brought back to someplace in Quebec and sold for furniture. The General I drove had the 36" bunk but it wasn't the crawl-thru. The bunk opening was from the floor to the roof, which was a lot better.
For our carhaul trucks we drove the bare bones GMC Brigadier... used for pulling car trailers with one car over the cab on the head ramp with 6 or 7 on the trailer. And the Stingers.... truck held 4 cars (3 up top and 1 behind the cab), trailer carried 6. Low mount 5th wheel was about a foot across and only 6 or 8 inches above the pavement at the very rear of the truck.

I've hauled ass down the road to deliver new cars and trucks, fuel, freight, and produce. Now I'm addicted to ATS doing the same thing in a simulation.

@GT182 Do you remember what the drivetrain was on the lumber General and the carhauler Brigadier? I've seen pictures of those car haulers and if they have what I think they had (6V-92 Silver Detroit and a 9 speed) they must have been dogs to drive.
Better known as Jake from State Farm.

JVPTH3MVP, yes. The Brigadiers had the 6V-92. The cheap version with 250hp and a 10 speed. When we got the Stingers, as DAFman shows, they had the same 250hp with a 7 speed. All were crap. We called them Dragon Flies..... they'd drag up one side of a hill, and then flew down the other side.
DAFmanXFE6, yeah that's basically it, We carried 10 cars, with 4 on the truck, 6 on the trailer. But our rigs were a pale blue color. Showed the dirt and grease better. LOL
Photo shows how they were loaded for the Camaros and Firebirds we hauled out of St. Therese, PQ. At that time the GM plant up there was the only plant in N. America that built them. In Nov of 93 our terminal was closed and they were shipped by rail to the US.... for all of the USA.

Finally, after all these years, I got this photo loaded to show. Time frame was the summer of 1992. I miss that job.
JVPTH3MVP, I can't remember exactly what the General's engine was. Tho I do know it had a Cummins engine and a 13 speed. It pulled the hills really good. Solid black with the 3 color stripping on it..... red, yellow, and orange. Bunk was the large walk-in. IIR recall it was a 72" bunk or bigger. It was a special order. It sure was a sweet looking and running truck.
