SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

[WIP] GMC General
Having acquired a ton of research/reference material over the past year, I've somewhat changed my priorities on my too many numerous truck projects. I am currently focusing on one of my all-time favourites: the GMC General. I have bought several GMC Body Builder manuals, a 1977 General Owner's Manual, and a 1980 Chevrolet Truck Sales Data Book from which I've gathered accurate dimensional, weight, and price information.
Some of you will recall that I made a General for 18WoS:PttM. Believe it or not, this began as a simple rework of that model a couple years ago. It has since become so much more. So far there are 4 cabin options and 10 chassis options, and that will more than double before release.
Here are a couple of example configurations showing both the N9E (108" BBC) and N9F (116" BBC) models, as well as the 34" crawl-through sleeper (RPO E19) available on earlier models.

Obviously, there's still a ton to do, but I couldn't keep a lid on this any longer – I'm too excited!

An Autocar, a Bison, and a GMC General are all being worked on. How awesome is that!

Re: [WIP] GMC General
How exciting! You would have had a field day at the vintage truck show in Ontario this summer.

Nice job Smarty !I really like these old irons, they are a curiosity here in Europe. Unfortunately, I haven't seen anything like this in real life yet, but thanks to good modders, they are almost foolproof.
Thanks for your work!
