SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Thank you for your extensive work on this truck! I cannot wait until this is finished! I was 10 years old in 1977 when this truck came out irl, and it was the biggest driving force (no pun intended, lol) to keep me motivated to go to truck driving school when I was old enough to get my cdl. Unfortunately this truck was too old by the time I drove, and until then, I built many plastic models of the 5 star general. Hope this helps motivate you to keep working on your final release!

The old soul! Can't wait to drive it, vintage rigs have always been something else.
Just a man who likes big trucks and three trailers behind it.

As a rule, Smarty just takes his time with his mods. General isn't dead. Yet.

Don't believe everything you see on the internet. :P

I've done quite a bit of work on the filters, changeable exhaust stacks, chassis components, and other accessories lately. Next steps will be further detailing/refinement of the chassis.

Looks incredible! I'll be honest I lost a little bit of hope on this project but I am so happy to see that the flame is still lit! Looking great. :)
