SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Cannot wait for the patch that includes the separated cabin from the default 389. I’ll def be adding this truck in my garage again.

Oh btw i dunno if its easy to fix or fixable...But on the side windows on the edges the rain doesn't go there for some reason? Just a bit annoying.

386? interesting I've only heard of 389... so cool
btw @typical_canadian to put a SCS downloadable file into ATS you need to download it ofc, next copy and paste it into your mod folder by going into your file explorer...
Go to Documents > American Truck Simulator > Mod > then paste the mod in once you copied it from the downloads folder from which is default on any pc in the file explorer...
also to @rmodjeski amazing truck I love it keep up the great work...

Re: [1.39] Peterbilt 386 [REL] New Release! 11-15-2020
Anyone else got a crashing issue with this one?
Ive got the latest version of the 386, and it displays in the shop. Once I hit customize, I get a CTD.
Game log doesn’t show any 386 specific entries. Last entry is an error of a W900 interior.. could this be related?
I‘d be thankful for any pointer. Lol

@Niceaux do you have the interior reworks pack? If so, remove it. This truck won't work with that. Also a particular pay mod of the 389 conflicts with this truck also. Due to respect for scs, I won't mention it by name.

Thanks for the heads up!
I‘ve actually got two 389 payware mods. Guess that’s the issue then!
EDIT: I can confirm it was the 389 Paid mod. It’s working fine now. Can we get future compatibility though..? I mean, I‘d like to use both really..

I was going to give it a try, buuuuuuut.... the archive is broken. Found a coment on the 19th page where the issue fixed by re-download multiple times. Tried it(10 times) . NO Luck.
Please fix it.
Please fix it.

Excuse me. Maybe I can't find proper spot, but is it possible to place exhaust behind a sleeper?

Same thing happens to me, ever since version 1 came out...I do have a pay 389 mod (JR).
Re: [1.39] Peterbilt 386 [REL] New Release! 11-15-2020
If you have any mod that uses the same stock scs parts, it'll crash. Jr's trucks don't cause it. If you have the interior reworks mod on here active, it'll crash. If you use a certain paid mod I won't mention, it'll also crash. The truck uses the stock 389 parts and will conflict if another mod uses the same parts. Also, a lot of this is covered in the Readme.
