[REL] Fontaine Phantom [1.2 22/08/2022]

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Its interesting when SCS adds a new attribute, but doesn't really explain how to use them, particular with the new CoG attribute.

Have you tried reading the latest modding guide on the Wiki? :P It's just an array of vectors for the cargo center of gravity, one for each trailer in the combination, starting with the 'master' trailer. Bear in mind that, in the game, Y is the vertical coordinate and Z is the longitudinal coordinate.

Visions of things to come...

Adaptation of SCS' concrete pipes, with more correct chain securement. (Still lots of work left to do on this)

Here's a load of ~44,670lb of drywall that's getting close to inclusion.

Yea that drywall Sheetrock really needs to a trap covering it. Because if it rains it will get wet and start dissolving and the coustomer might turn the wet load down. Just a thought....Great work Smarty....

Well, if I tarp everything that should be tarped, I'll just end up with a bunch of loads that are just tarps. And that's not very fun. :P

I'll probably add a tarped option eventually but you have to admit that the end-tape is far more cheerful-looking. ;)

I agree with Smarty. It's much more interesting to see the sheetrock, than it is to see a tarp.

All I ever wanted to do was run Lowbeds until Smarty made his flatbed mod. Now all I end up doing is flatbedding. Awesome mod as always I like the look of the new cargos.

The drywall load and the sidekit variant are included in today's 1.0.5 update.

Other highlights:
- Better optimization of shadow mesh; also now includes the landing gear
- Reduced number of rotations in the landing gear animation to better suit the fixed length in-game (original was accurate number of rotations, believe it or not)

If you are already subscribed on Steam Workshop, it will update automatically. Otherwise, the updated package is also available on SCR as usual. The paint template for the sidekit will be there later tonight as well.

Enjoy! :)
