Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

I'll second what Wolfi and Bora said. They have NFI what's involved in trying to get a mod to work without errors or crashes.
All it is, is 'I want, I want'.
Not only that, when someone releases a mod on this site (and ONLY THIS SITE), within two hours or so, some moron has uploaded it to other mod sites, WITHOUT PERMISSION from the original author.

Re: [WIP] Eager Beaver 50 GSL/BR
SCS driving simulation is my hobby. I make mods for my own benefit, then, if I want to, I would share them with the world.
The truth is, if someone else uploads my mods to some other website, that website will have no support from me, even though the people at those sites give proper credits to me. I've already seen so many links all over the internet with my mods being uploaded to those. To be honest, since I'm not really making profit from my mods (and I will NEVER make them payware), they are not worth my time taking them down. So far, I have not seen a site where they are making money off of my mods; if that ever happens, then I will give them hell. If everybody wants support for my mods, they have to come either on here, the SCS Forums, or on my mod pages in the Steam Workshop. These two locations are the only places which my mods will always be updated OFFICIALLY after a new patch comes out. Nowhere else.
Sure, some modders will argue against me for my take on mod theft, but then again, welcome to the internet world. A person will determine whether or not that's a big deal. With the explanation I gave above, I feel like it's no big deal up to a certain point. Anything can happen, whether you like it or not.
Anyway, Smarty shall take his time.

Smarty is probably hard at work with his paying job and then working on hsi mods when he gets time.

I like Smarty's work. It is some of the best in the game. I don't have many complaints about it other than the incompatibility with SISL's megapack as I like to ride with the dog.

Nothing worth making a post out of. I got a few tiny things done on it last week, so it's not forgotten.
Generally, I've been busy with work, life, and other mods. Between 6 major, active, released mods and ~13 more in development, not everything will have my full attention all of the time (then again, my full attention on anything is rare at the best of times ).
